Overview

Stratiform, a PCM Company, is hiring a Cloud Solution Specialist.  The Stratiform Cloud Solution Specialist is at the forefront of our customer’s digital transformation using cloud-based Microsoft solutions. Leading with customer centric business scenarios, you’ll prioritize engagement with business decision makers while influencing technical decision makers – translating how Stratiform Solutions, powered by the Microsoft Cloud, solve customer relevant business problems. You will drive sales of Stratiform solutions with an emphasis on solutions leading to managed services. The Cloud Solution Specialist is a true specialist and strategic trusted advisor to our customers, with significant depth and understanding of cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive new revenue growth for Stratiform solutions within assigned accounts.
  • Proactively drive active usage / consumption of Microsoft Cloud offerings.
  • Identify accounts that have high potential for rapid cloud adoption resulting in significant Azure, O365, EMS and Stratiform managed services revenue.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of business substantial enough to support your budget of closed sales revenues
  • Effectively deliver a strategic cloud vision to gain agreement from customers on the business value of solutions - including detailed relevant Business Decision Maker & Industry use cases, financial analysis such as Total Cost of Ownership & Return on Investment.
  • Develop customer’s buying vision, and lead cloud discussions that illustrate how Stratiform services, powered by the Microsoft Cloud, will help reduce costs, optimize their IT environment and investments and increase business agility.
  • Orchestrate the completion of a successful Customer Success Plan before opportunity is closed to drive deployment and usage of the Microsoft Cloud and Stratiform solutions.
  • Report back to your customers as business objectives / business value conditions are met
  • Deliver satisfied clients willing to provide references that can be leveraged for future sales engagements.
  • Establish and foster deep customer relationships with key business and technical stakeholders that have the power to drive long-term cloud adoption within their company.
  • Continuously nurture and expand your sales and competitive readiness with respect to not only Microsoft cloud readiness, cloud issues and challenges, but also the overall market and industry relative to your customer base.

Qualifications

  • Strong track record of solution selling, based on business value principles, including 5 years of experience selling Cloud or Cloud-related solutions
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise selling strategic technology solutions to senior Business and IT Decision Makers by reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities.
  • Proven history of holding and consistently exceeding quota.
  • Proven track record of driving decisions with customers collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Ability to connect technology with measurable business value.
  • Proven experience in the following key areas: needs analysis and envisioning, in-depth knowledge of competitors, understanding of the customer’s business, high-level understanding of system and application design, cloud solutions architecture.
  • Experienced and skilled at being the Trusted Advisor to your customers through:
    • Working effectively with all levels in the customer organization, helping them understand and solve their business problems
    • Becoming the “go to” person the customer seeks out when new business problems arise and must be solved
    • Consistently welcomed by top customer management to discuss new ideas and approaches
