Overview

Stratiform, a PCM Company, is hiring a Productivity Solutions Architect.  

The Productivity Solutions Architect (PSA) will help drive Microsoft Productivity offerings with our customers. This includes influencing the sale, deployment, and adoption of Office 365 and other Productivity workloads, including Office clients, SharePoint/OneDrive, Exchange, Skype for Business, Yammer, Project, and Visio.
The PSA is a technical, customer-facing role that is accountable for the end-to-end customer Microsoft Productivity deployment experience. Working in conjunction with Stratiform consultants, PSAs own the Productivity technical customer engagement including: architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or Proofs of Concepts. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions with senior customer executives to drive deployment and adoption of Microsoft Productivity workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Explain, demonstrate, and prove in-depth what Microsoft’s Productivity products & services can do and how to enable & manage them for customers from mid-market to enterprise.
  • In conjunction with the Stratiform sales team, drive the sale, deployment, and adoption of Productivity solutions.
  • Identify and eliminate technical and competitive blockers to Productivity sales.
  • Lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance discussions for Office 365.
  • Serve as the primary connection and orchestration point for other technical resources, providing guidance, best practices and escalation within the Productivity practice area.
  • Provide architecture and deployment guidance, develop project delivery IP and sales collateral and lead the Microsoft Productivity practice from a technical standpoint.
  • Orchestrate cross-workload solutions with for other Microsoft products and services, such as Azure, CRM, and Enterprise Mobility.
  • Participate in Stratiform and Microsoft technical communities and in the broader industry through events, blogs, whitepapers, and articles for the Productivity domain.
  • Provide billable consulting services to Stratiform customers as a senior Solutions Architect for Productivity engagements.
  • Creation of customer proposals and SOWs to support project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in technical pre-sales and/or technical consulting roles.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, product demo and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience engaging with senior level executives.
  • Highly driven person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations.
  • Contagious enthusiasm for and a desire to continuously learn new technology.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Strong Cloud and Productivity solution experience.
  • Strong hands-on technical experience with Office 365, Office 365 ProPlus and other Office clients (Professional, mobile clients & apps), and at least one of Exchange, SharePoint, or Skype for Business, including ability to design technical architecture.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance topics with regards to cloud and hybrid productivity solutions.
  • Understand Office 365 deployment and adoption planning, including Office 365 FastTrack.
  • Experiences and knowledge in TCP/IP networking, enterprise-scale experience with cloud & hybrid infrastructures, heterogeneous client OS & device environments, productivity solution architecture and design, and migrations.
  • Broad knowledge of and ability to explain key end-user scenarios and technical architecture in the Productivity space.
  • Ability to build deep technical relationships with senior executives and grow the Microsoft Productivity footprint and consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts.
  • Drive collaborative decision making, eliminate roadblocks and execute on plans and initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to leverage internal and/or external resources.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
