Industry leader PCM has an immediate opening for a Software Procurement Specialist in our Foxboro, MA office.   Be a part of a global 2.5 Billion dollar powerhouse.  

 

The Software Procurement specialist will be responsible for the procurement and management of software products and relations from assigned vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and process purchase orders in SAP

  • Confirm purchase orders with vendors

  • Analyze backorder report proactively
  • Confirm and close purchase orders for billing (non EDI)
  • Work closely with vendors on price discrepancies
  • Process any required returns to the assigned vendors
  • Achieve a cross-functional understanding of roles within software operations to provide superior customer service
  • Report data integrity issues/vendor requirements to Purchasing Lead
  • Back up team members as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • 2 years purchasing experience in the software licensing industry preferred
  • College degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with coworkers at all levels.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Licensing programs a plus
  • SAP MM experience a plus
