Overview

Approximately 600 users, Win7 & Win10, Active Directory are 2008R2, Exchange 2010 (upgrading to 2016 soon).  Dell KACE is used for ticketing, inventory, patching and imaging.   MacAfee EPO/Virus Scan/Device Encryption for security management of our PC’s. 

 PC’s and servers are Dell, as are most of our printers. Al Dell hardware is covered by onsite parts/labor warranties. .  Help Desk employee will manage PC’s and Help Desk tickets via Dell KACE.  Image and configure computers via KACE. Create and manage Active Directory and Exchange Server accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage IT Help Desk calls and tickets in the IT environment that’s described above.
  • Set up / Image / Move PC’s and Avaya IP Phones.
  • Set up Active Directory/Exchange accounts for new users.
  • A minimum of 2 years of 100% IT Help Desk experience.
  • Windows 7/10 Experience.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Exchange Server.
  • A+, Network+ Certification is a plus.
  • Microsoft Certification is a plus.
  • Dell KACE experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work well with others, as well as independently
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Help Desk environment supporting computer software and hardware.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and MS Windows XP & Windows 7             
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with aggressive timelines; highly organized with the ability to prioritize demand for self in a fast paced environment.                                             
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong telephone skills                                                       
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

 

Education/Certifications:

  • A+ certification is required and Network+ certification is highly desired.
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in a computer-related field of study or equivalent experience.
