The Field Solutions Archtiect will work remote and onsite with customers in the local region. This resource must have pre-sales capabilities with a focus on designing complex solutions for Enterprise customers. The Architect collaborates with sales, post-sales and technical support resources.


  • Established VMware’s Marketstar team as Sr. Pre-sales Engineer and maintained very high performance for 4 years.
  • Continually trained a highly regarded team of 20+ revolving VMware inside Partner Business Managers.
  • Helped supported hundreds of partners nationally.
  • Established and trained the support infrastructure for Iomega’s Enterprise Storage offering.
  • Performed many customer facing Webinars, Live presentations.
  • Technical primary for the vSphere Optimization for En Pointe with over a dozen deliveries of assessments.
  • Develop statement of work for all VMware related professioan services project. 
  • Maintain vendor relationships with partner community
  • Participate in various client projects intended to continually improve/upgrade telecommunications infrastructures
  • Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements
  • Manage time and expense to meet or exceed expectations defined in the Statement of Work
  • Ensure solution is implemented as designed to the customer’s satisfaction and approval
  • Educates the customer on solution as appropriate throughout the life of the project or service life.


  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in network engineering, with some experience designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs using the latest technology
  • Experience with Cisco based wireless site survey, network design, and implementation
  • Familiarity with Air Magnet or other monitoring solutions
  • Bachelor degree in business, computer science, a related technical degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10 years’ experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation and support
  • Minimum of two years consulting experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • VCP, VSP, and all relevant VMware certifications is required.
