The position of Vendor Financial Analyst is primarily focused on assisting the Sr. Director of Microsoft Programs in the development, managing, and execution of critical business and financial reports for the PCM Microsoft practice and PCM Accounting and Finance Teams supporting US, Canada and a growing international presence.  


This position involves accounting and tracking of vendor rebates for specific vendors.  The Analyst assists in data normalization and maintaining monthly financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.   The candidate will compile and assemble detailed vendor rebate information and reconcile to internal records, profit and loss reports, as well as general ledger.  The candidate will also develop detailed cash receipts records and apply to vendor receivables.


The Analyst candidate will have strong analytical skills as well as strong knowledge of tools such as Excel, Power BI or related data and business intelligence software.


As Vendor Financial Analyst, you will add value directly in support of your Director, Management and company by:

  • Normalization and input of data from various Microsoft and in-house/ERP reporting tools
  • Maintain and manage databases of Microsoft invoice and incentive and profit data
  • Assisting Sr. Director/Analyst/Accounting team with dashboard and report generation
  • Developing performance metrics and process training documentation for the role
  • Assisting in delivery and communication of required daily, weekly and monthly reports to Accounting, Marketing and Sales leadership
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • College degree in accounting, finance and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years recent data analysis, accounting and finance reporting experience
  • Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively
  • Strong eye for detail and ability see the story and actions required that the data can tell
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Proficiency in Key MS Office tools - Excel, PowerPoint, with Power BI a plus
  • Prior experience with vendor rebate accounting a plus
