Overview

PCM has an open contract for a Desktop Support Technician reporting to the Desktop and Mobile Support Team on site with our Client. This group is responsible for delivering desktop support services for an enterprise environment. This contract position will report to the Desktop and Mobile Support Manager working out of the General Office location in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

PCM is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to assist in resolving operational support issues generated from roll outs in retail and office location.  Preferred candidate is driven by results and has experience providing end-user device support for large projects.  Preferred candidate will also have a high level understanding of simple networking services and Windows 7 administration at an enterprise level. Is expected be able to perform support tasks with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions:                                                                                                                                                                                    

  • Contribute remote support services for rollout of enterprise solution
  • Develop documentation for support and functional teams
  • Identify and resolve trends related to various software issues
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the internal Project Coordinator
  • Deliver quality customer service and resolve end-user issues in a timely manner

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                                                   

  • Experience with support and administration of Windows 7
  • Knowledge of Office 365 is a plus
  • Must have a demonstrated high level understanding of Desktop and Network operations technical areas
  • Must be very organized, able to balance multiple priorities, and driven by accomplishments
  • Previous Job Experience:                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • Experience with point of sale rollouts in a retail organization is a plus
  • Experience with BigFix is a plus
