Applicant will be responsible for performing a wide variety of onsite problem determination and resolution processes of Mac desktop hardware and software by means of hardware maintenance, repairs, software installations and general configurations and support. Applicant will have knowledge of support procedures for many applications, Apple laptops, and mobile devices.
The focus of this role will be to provide assistance to our clients Mac users for hardware, software, and application access issues. There will be a primary focus on providing Mac assistance to our executive and executive assistant customer base. This role requires you to be on-call for executive and executive assistant customer base issues.


  • Troubleshoot Mac hardware and software on site
  • Support ad hoc IT projects
  • Verification of the integrity and availability of hardware
  • Organize and coordinate activities associated with installation, deployment, and upgrade of software, and hardware, as it relates to the desk side environment
  • Work trouble tickets and work orders as assigned and resolve/complete within SLAs
  • Provide on-going education and training to non-technical end-users
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a global enterprise.
  • Propose changes or solutions to products and services for optimal business results
  • Network knowledge and connectivity troubleshooting experience (TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS)
  • Microsoft Active Directory (AD) – fundamental tasks such as password resets, computer join/disjoin, group membership add/remove
  • Ability to adapt to a highly diverse work environment


  • 3 to 5 years of experience handling Mac desktop engineering support in large corporate environments.
  • Jamf (CCA, CCT certifications)
  • Apple Certifications (ACSP, ACA, ACTC, ACMT) a plus.
  • Xsan experience
  • Detailed knowledge of current Mac products as well as experience in maintenance and support of peripherals and mobile devices
  • An independent, reliable and client oriented working style with the ability to explain technical concepts in layman's terms
  • Able to find a creative/out of the box solution in addition to being able to follow instructions is key
  • Capable analytical and communication skills, persistence/patience, able to work with both efficiency and accuracy, sometimes within tight time constraints is ideal
  • Strong Customer Service focus 
  • Clear, user level written and verbal communication 
  • Technical writing/documentation 
  • Detail oriented – gets it right the first time 
  • Bonus Points: Degree in Computer Science and/or related field and/or industry certifications (i.e. CompTIA A+, ACMT, ACiT)
