    Overview

    The Field Manager - Microsoft Software Solutions Executive works hand-in-hand with PCM Account Managers, Market Leaders, Partners and key internal resources to grow and facilitate new and renewal Microsoft software & Cloud sales opportunities nationally. The Field Sales Manager is responsible for achieving quota and growth targets through Software & Cloud sales with particular focus on designated core partner business. 

     

     

    Focus for this role will be on achieving sales and profit goals through net new sales resulting from direct client interface, on-site visits, account planning, partner teaming and engagement, as well as solution development and implementation.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing a sales team of 12+ field overlay reps
    • Drive sales strategy and work with overlay Field reps to attain sales quotas
    • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to customers
    • Motivate, coach, and manage the sales team
    • Manage performance
    • Build a sales team (recruit, hire, and train new employees)
    • Oversee accurate pipeline management
    • Exponential territory growth
    • Establish and develop strong Partner relationships nationally
    • Work with Marketing to effectively create brand awareness
    • Meet with the top customers nationally
    • Up to 50% Travel required

    Qualifications

    • College degree or equivalent preferred
    • Must have deep MS Licensing experience, skilled with managing Microsoft contract vehicles (Enterprise Agreements, MPSA, Select +, Open Licensing, CSP, etc.) and pricing analysis
    • Strong analytical skills are required; must be proficient with Microsoft Office; able to manipulate large, complex Excel spreadsheets.
    • 8+ years recent VAR or LAR industry sales/marketing experience
    • Proven record of success achieving/exceeding sales targets and goals
    • Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively
    • Experience working with C-Level executives
    • Ability to travel in nationally (up to50% expected)
    • Excellent communication, presentation, organization and negotiation skills
    • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
    • Ability to execute, focused on results, strong teamwork skills, self-motivated and pro-active
    • Successful experience developing strong customer and vendor relationships
