    Overview

    PCM is seeking an IT Desktop Technician I to work in a Depot environment in Irvine CA. This person must have excellent technical, communication and customer satisfaction skills.

    Responsibilities

    This resource will be working with a team of technicians in our Irvine Depot center for various customers. Depending on resource location, there may be additional dispatches to other Customer locations. Part Time casual employment for approximately 3 months, M-F 8-5, with possible extension; with mileage and drive time to remote locations as needed.

     

    This engagement may include, but is not limited to the following:

    • OS / Imaging / Data Migration
    • Inventory / Asset Management
    • Break-fix support for desktop, laptop, printer, scanners

    This resource will be shared amongst all PCM Service Managers throughout the company for potential engagement within the identified geographic region.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
    This resource must possess the below required experience or qualifications:

     

    • Minimum 1 – 3 years onsite deskside support enterprise level experience
    • Break-fix, including laptop / desktop / printer / scanner experience
    • Hardware and software troubleshooting
      • Including SSD M.2 hard drive experience
    • Windows 7/10 OS knowledge and experience
    • Imaging / backup / data transfer
    • Basic AD / persona profile / joindom / migration experience
    • Microsoft Office suite and email/exchange experience
    • Follow all written/defined PCM onsite directions
      • Problem-solving skills and can think independently if there are issues previously unidentified with PCM scope
    • Focus on documentation and paperwork reporting for customer records
    • Good communication and customer services skills
    • Ability to build rapport with customers, who will want to repeatedly request this resource

    OPTIONAL EXPERIENCE:
    It would be beneficial, but not required, if this resource possesses the below experience or qualifications:

    • A+ and/or Manufacturer warranty certifications
    • Network support experience, including troubleshooting data drop or cabling issues
