    Overview

     PCM’s Professional Services Organization has an immediate opening for an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager.  This role will provide project management leadership to a portfolio of Cybersecurity consulting initiatives. He/she will be responsible for driving project tempos while managing stakeholder contributions through the project lifecycle.  He/she will work closely with consulting teams, client stakeholder groups, operations, and business partners to deliver programs/projects to enhance security capabilities.

     

    The candidate must be able to perform general Project Management duties, including task management, status report generation, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication, for several simultaneous projects.  The candidate must be able to learn and follow PCM's Project Management Methodology and work independently with minimal supervision.

     

    This position will be worked remote in any major market with minimal travel. 

    Responsibilities

    • Managing assigned projects using PCM’s PMO methodology, tools, and templates
    • Facilitating the seamless delivery of all security services projects
    • Coordinating the efforts of the project team (account managers, project leads, resource managers, pre- and post-sales engineers, client representatives) – drive the team toward a successful project completion
    • Creating and maintaining project plans, project schedules, status reports, action item logs, and issue logs
    • Facilitating both internal and customer facing meetings; submit meeting minutes and track action items to completion
    • Ensuring quality project standards are met as prescribed by Security Services team through the effective implementation or use of approved processes, methodologies and deliverables
    • Assuring the proper consulting templates are up to date and being utilized on each project
    • Understanding how and when to escalate project issues
    • Managing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Providing weekly forecast information for assigned projects
    • Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
    • Communicating effectively with customers, project team and management

    Qualifications

    • ITIL Foundation and/or PMP certification preferred
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, project management or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity or GRC environments.
    • 5 or more years’ experience managing infrastructure and security projects, preferably as part of a Professional Services organization
    • 5 or more years’ experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience managing security consulting projects with personal accountability for delivering on time and within budget for large, complex projects varying from 3 to 18 months in duration
    • Experience forecasting project revenue and facilitating service billing for assigned projects
    • Analytical and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a project simultaneously
    • Strong team working skills across client, supplier and geographically dispersed virtual teams
    • Familiarity with IT methodologies, processes and standards for project management
    • Familiarity with security regulatory compliance assessments: NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, GDPR, etc.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Ability to travel occasionally
