PCM is hiring a Digital Signage Installation Technician Lead to install and service digital signage systems in the Los Angeles area as well as be willing to travel during large Health Care System roll-outs and take on primary lead technician responsibilities. The Lead Technician will travel up to 50% and must not only have the technical skillset to install DS systems but also have the soft skills to work with end user customers. During this time, the tech will travel to different locations and ensure quality of installations as well as provide support to 3rd party installers during these roll-outs.
Install and mount multiple displays of varying sizes in doctors offices and hospitals
Run and terminate cable
Troubleshoot displays, connectivity, Windows/Linux PC's and Android tablets
Familiarity with XP, Win 7, Win 8.1
Train other technicians
Travel into areas when necessary to provide lead responsibilities during roll-outs. This includes providing project guidance and training to new technicians, oversight of installations at locations to ensure quality throughout the installation, the sites are left satisfied by the installations as well as de-escalate any issues that may arise during an installation.
5+ years Digital Signage installation experience
5+ years cabling experience
5+ years mounting displays
5+ years management experience
A+ certification a plus
Network+ certification a plus
XP, Win 7, Win 8.1 and Android troubleshooting experience
Willingness to travel up to 50 %
National roll-out experience a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task with interruption
Proficient in Microsoft Suite software
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with minimal oversight
