    Technical Team Lead

    (Sr. Desktop Support Tech with project lead exp.)

    Needed Immediately with PCM in Orlando Area

    On-site support with some Remote flexibility

     Approximately 30% travel to assigned client sites

    **Only candidates with project lead experience will be considered


    • Client facing position which requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well as an individual and in a team environment, following documented policies and procedures.
    • Assist PCM recruiting team to develop talent pipeline to help facilitate the rapid on-boarding of  3rd party IT talent for clients in Orlando.
    • Manage customer demands to ensure maximum satisfaction, and to maintain quality over quantity
    • Provide hands-on supervision and function as point of contact for on-site PCM employees as well as client
    • Engage in the negotiation of customer job demands and specifications as regards to labor and material; and assist in creating comprehensive technical documents
    • Supervise activities between internal and external resources, and facilitate smooth workflow for service delivery
    • Evaluate project data for accuracy, and take the lead in setting project targets and priorities
    • Give training and mentorship to team members to make them better on the job
    • Be up to date with current field practices to enhance service standards and delivery
    • Review customer technical demands and instructions and assist internal team and customers to identify the best order for lifts, and the most efficient methods of maintaining and using delivered materials
    • Strong knowledge of IT support/customer support projects and industry. 
    • Configure and deploy desktop hardware components (Workstations, Thin Client Devices, Peripherals, and Unified Communications Devices) in accordance with established procedures and security requirements to meet business needs.
    • Configure and deploy business applications (client software) on physical workstations across the enterprise.




    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Proven experience (minimum 3 years), and demonstrated expertise, configuring, managing, and maintaining both physical and virtual Windows Desktops (Win7, Win10) in an enterprise environment.
    • Proven experience (minimum 3 years), and demonstrated expertise, supporting client components of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Network File Systems, and SQL environments.
    • Knowledge of healthcare medical equipment and technology a plus
    • Proven experience leading technical teams with an emphasis on employee development.
    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Good project management skills.


    Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus



    • 30% travel to client sites in Central Florida area
    • Travel to multiple sites in Central Florida to oversee day-to-day operations as well as work with customer management to develop and implement continuous improvement process
