    PCM is currently seeking a Desktop Support resource who can supplement our customer’s staff by responding to all inbound service requests for PC Infrastructure support.  Primary responsibilities will be to support, upgrade, install and troubleshoot desktops, notebooks, printers and other hardware devices within a structured IT enterprise environment.  


    The Desktop Support resource requires the ability to operate with minimum guidance from Management, and can report site service activities as needed.  


    ** This position may require a start time of 2:00PM **


    • Experience with installing and configuring Windows 10 workstations
    • Experience with using enterprise imaging system like SCCM, LanDesk, Acronis, etc., is a plus
    • Troubleshooting and re-installing device drivers
    • Print driver installation and troubleshooting
    • Third-party application software installation
    • Experience with installing applications from an application library, executing scripts, etc. is a plus
    • Miscellaneous device configuration
    • Assigning IP addresses, subnet masks and gateways to printers, multi-function devices, and miscellaneous devices
    • Ability to follow test scripts and document results
    • Familiarity with asset inventory systems, asset tagging, and record device info in an asset system is a plus
    • Customer Support skills.  The ability to listen to customer issues, document issues in a ticketing system, and communicate clearly to end users is required.
    • Project team participation. The ability to work on a project team, provide task status, work to a workplan, etc., is required.


    • 5-7 years of desktop support experience in corporate environment.
    • Builds strong relationships with end users by projecting a positive attitude, showing sincere concern, providing helpful support and making the end user feel important.
    • Experience with large technology rollout, upgrades and moves.
    • Timely incident completion


    Preferred Experience and Desired Certifications

    • Hardware Certifications – Comptia A+ and or Network+, vendor certifications preferred
    • Understand how to deploy using SCCM or similar deployment software
